CureFest Happenings

• CureFest Schedule

  The upcoming CureFest and various summits aim to unite the pediatric brain tumor community, raise awareness about childhood cancer, and support affected families. Events include panel discussions, workshops, and advocacy training for children and young adults. Attendees will engage with healthcare professionals, lawmakers, and each other through activities designed to foster connection and share experiences. Noteworthy events include the Golden Toast reception, Youth Advocacy Day, and the Rally to the Capitol, culminating in a series of support sessions for survivors, fighters, and bereaved families.

• Golden Toast (Thursday Night)

• Childhood Cancer Caucus Summit (Thursday Morning)

  The 17th Annual Childhood Cancer Summit, hosted by Congressman Michael McCaul and the Congressional Childhood Cancer Caucus, is on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 9:30am ET on Capitol Hill. The Summit will bring together Members of Congress, advocates, researchers, healthcare professionals, and members of the childhood cancer community in support of ongoing efforts to improve outcomes for children and families affected by pediatric cancer.

• The CureFest Collective (Friday)

  This free event is exclusively for fighters, survivors and siblings ages 13-29 Join us for a private event at the historic Hard Rock Cafe in Washington, DC. There will be dinner, a DJ, karaoke, bingo, and a dance floor. Transportation will be provided to and from the JW Marriott Hotel. Bus and venue are wheelchair accessible. The bus will pick up attendees at approximately 6:00 pm and drop off at approximately 10:00 pm. Pre-registration is required. Spots are limited. We will add a waiting list, as necessary.

• CLIMB THE HILL Youth Advocacy Day (Friday)

  Children and young adults will visit Congressional offices in groups led by a Youth Leader. This is an all-day event. Hosted by Kids V Cancer To register and for more information, please visit the Climb the Hill info page Please contact Jenn at jenn@kidsvcancer.org with any questions.

• CAC2 Reception (Friday Night)

  Join the CAC2 Reception on September 18, 2026, from 5 PM to 7 PM at JW Marriott, DC. Network with fellow members and industry leaders while enjoying drinks and light fare.

• CureFest

  Sept. 18-20: CureFest for Childhood Cancer is a global event that brings together thousands of individuals and organizations from around the world, both in-person and virtually. Hundreds of childhood cancer foundations attend CureFest in-person in Washington, DC, where they come together as One Voice against childhood cancer.
